The value of used ICT equipment depends on a number of factors. This includes not only the age and the new price, although those certainly play a role.

This is the most important thing. The components in your hardware determine the performance and therefore the value. We are especially interested in: 

• Processor (CPU) and working memory (RAM): the faster and newer the processor and the more RAM (for example 8GB or 16GB), the higher the value. A powerful processor makes a computer even more suitable for reuse.
• Storage type: a computer or laptop with an SSD (Solid State Drive) is much more valuable than one with an old HDD (Hard Disk Drive). 
• Graphics card: in servers and powerful workstations, the graphics card (GPU) also plays a role.

2. The state

Of course, we look at the age, but also at the physical condition of the device.

• As a rule, the newer the equipment, the more valuable it is. Equipment that is between 1 and 4 years old often brings the most profit. Please note: we only buy hardware that is less than 6 years old. Furthermore, we do not buy defective or incomplete equipment or accessories.
• A working device provides the best value for money. But don't worry: we often buy used defective hardware too! We can still reuse valuable parts and thus save you money. Recycling hardware!
• Does the hardware look neat? Are there no major cracks or deep scratches on the casing or the screen? A good cosmetic appearance is a plus.

3. The volume

Larger parties are more favorable to you and to us.

• Large orders: if you offer a large number of computers, monitors or phones at once, we can work more efficiently (logistically and processing-wise). This often allows us to offer you a better price per unit!
• Type of equipment: Servers and network equipment (switches, routers) often retain their value longer than, for example, older printers or monitors. We purchase all ICT hardware, from laptops to data carriers.
