Destroying Phones
Sustainable destruction of phones
Mobile phones store a lot of personal and business information. Think of emails, contact details, documents and photos. When a device is no longer used, this information must remain well protected. W3E is a specialist in destroying phones for the business market. We ensure that your data never falls into the wrong hands.
What to do with old phones?
Many organizations are wondering: what to do with old phones that remain after a replacement round? You can’t just throw these devices away and leave them lying around in a closet, which poses a security risk.
Do you want to destroy your old mobile phone? Then choose a safe solution with W3E. We operate according to the strictest security and privacy regulations (GDPR). This way you can be sure that your data is permanently deleted.
Where can I return old phones?
Are you looking for a place where you can drop off old phones for professional processing? W3E helps companies and organizations safely dispose of their hardware. We pick up the equipment from you and handle the entire process, from transport to the destruction certificate.
Reuse as much as possible and otherwise recycle
W3E strives to reuse as much excess equipment as possible by giving it a second life. Of course, all remaining data on these devices is irreversibly destroyed. If the equipment is not suitable for reuse, we destroy the phones and recycle the remaining materials. If you prefer physical destruction over reuse, we can of course do this for you.
How we destroy your phones
The process at W3E is clear and secure. We do this in a few steps:
- Collection and transportationYou can choose our ICT pick-up and delivery service. We pick up your mobile devices in roll containers or bins and transport them to our facility.
- Inventory: Upon arrival, we carefully record each device.
- Data destructionIn our processing facility, the data on the phones is first irreversibly wiped using transfer techniques.
- Physical destruction: The device can also be physically destroyed, for example by shredding, making it impossible to recover anything.
- Proof of destruction: We will provide you with an official report and a certificate. This is proof that the data has been destroyed securely.
